Assholes at it again.
The media is full of terms like terrorist, and militant, and insurgent, and freedom fighter. I'm really starting to think that none of them apply as well as 'asshole'.
What a bunch of assholes.
I'm talking about these guys who saw fit to murder that guy on camera.
These guys are cruel, barbaric, and stupid...but the thing that gets me the most is how full of shit they are. That's something I'd like to tell these guys to their faces. "Hey, religious crusader (afraid to show your face and own up to what you did) you are totally full of shit."
I have often said that these so-called terrorists are just assholes looking to hurt people. And this just proves it.
These sorry bastards actually had the gall to claim that this savage murder was in retaliation for the treatment of Iraqi prisoners.
These bandwagon jumper really want the world to swallow that they were sitting around their little two-bedroom terror-suite getting all upset about George Bush and what he and his army have been doing. You know, writing and re-writing sternly worded letters for, what.....a week? It took them a week to work up the nerve to kill this guy*

"I don't know, maybe use some examples?"
"No, I just feel like we need to really let them know how we feel about this. I mean, they humiliated our country men. Or, rather, those who WOULD be our countrymen if we were from Iraq and not just here for the 'festivities'"
"Yeah, you are right. The letter is good, and it says what we want to say, but it doesn't say it loud enough...I mean, a letter just seems kind of weak compared to panties on some guy's face."
"Exactly we need a gesture equal to that girl pointing and laughing. Something that shows we can play hard-ball, too."
"Hey, how about we kill that American we kidnapped about a month ago?"
"I'm getting sick of him anyway, that could kill two birds with one stone."
"And remember, when you are cutting off the head of that non-combatant, keep in mind the humiliations our brothers endured after they were captured in combat..that will give you strength to cut!"
Ok, so a while back I congratulated terrorists everywhere on Spain's spinelesness and buckling. That proved that terrorism works. But these guys fucked it up. The message they were intending is that trasgressions will not go unanswered, but the message the actually delivered was 'we are full of shit'.
See, to me, it just proves that these acts are not in retaliation, or retribution...they are just violence. These assholes thought it would be cool to kill a guy, so they did. And in doing, they erased any progress that modern terrorists gained in Spain.
They just proved that all they are doing is looking for a reason. And, really, any reason will do. No matter what we do, they are gonna find some reason to kill someone.
Are we really supposed to believe that they were ok with the Iraqi prison situation until CNN told them there was mistreatment going on? Is that what they really expect us to think? They just saw that the whole world was all excited about it, and they wanted in on the media-pie.
They want attention, the want to feel like big men, and they want to be important. And all they are doing is showing their asses. All they are doing is showing themselves as desperate little boys begging for a spanking because they are so naughty.
I am getting tied up here. Assholes piss me off.
Ok, I'll close on this. It is amazing how much insight into world politics I have gained by working with violent teenagers.
